Tickets



1.  We only need the vehicle for 2 hours?
The cost for all vehicles is for up to 4 hours.   Top
2.  How many passengers will the Trolley hold?
Trolleys are rated for 35 passengers.  Top
3.  Can we make an "unscheduled" stop?
Yes! It's YOUR day, let the driver know of any last minute changes and we will accommodate.   Top
4.  Is there a deposit required at booking?
Yes, there is a deposit and final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.  Top
5.  Is the 81 passenger Double Decker available for weddings?
Yes. All vehicle sizes are available for Wedding Charters.   Top
6.  Can we drink on the vehicle?
Yes, plastic/ metal containers only. No kegs or glass.  Top
7.  Can you provide suggestions for photo stops?
Yes, we provide wedding transportation all year long and would be happy to offer suggestions!   Top
8.  What if we need more than (4) hours?
All Vehicles carry a hourly charge over the (4) hour minimum, check with sales if your itinerary will run over (4) hours.  Top
9.  Can we make more than 1 trip from the reception to the Hotel in the evening?
You can make as many trips as your time allotment will allow.   Top
10.  Can we get a school bus or van for our wedding?
Yes. All vehicle sizes are available for Wedding charters.  Top
11.  Do you require a damage deposit?
Only for School Buses. In the event that there is damage, extra charges could apply.  Top
12.  Is there a mileage charge?
In the Madison or Milwaukee area 4 hours is yours to use, no mileage charge unless out of the immediate area. Call sales if you're out of the Madison or Milwaukee regional area.  Top
13.  Do you require an exact itinerary?
Our goal is to make your day very special, the more information you can provide, such as times and locations, the more we can make everything run smoothly.  Top
14.  What does the price include?
All charges except for Driver Gratuity, which is at your discretion.   Top
15.  Can we decorate the vehicle?
Yes! Decorations inside are ok, no tape on the exterior paint, no materials inside that can damage upholstry.  Top
16.  I purchased a guest ticket. Can I change my ticket or receive a refund?
Unfortunately, no. If you did not create/sign up for an account, we are not able to modify or refund your guest ticket purchase. We have a disclaimer before you purchase as a guest that states: By clicking Complete Purchase I understand that I’m purchasing this ticket as a guest and will not be able to change my ticket or receive a refund.  Top
17.  Do I need to purchase tickets in advance for the Badger Bus?
When traveling on the Badger Bus it is not necessary to purchase tickets in advance, but we strongly suggest that you do buy in advance online at badgerbus.com. Passengers who purchase their ticket online at least 30 minutes prior to the FIRST stop on the route and arrive at the pickup location at least 10 minutes prior to the selected schedule will be guaranteed a seat. (Please note that if you are leaving from the Milwaukee area, the first stop is Mitchell Airport so your ticket must be purchased prior to that departure time. When leaving from Madison area, the first stop on the route is the UW Campus)   Top
18.  Am I guaranteed a seat on the Badger Bus?
Passengers who purchase their ticket online at www.badgerbus.com will be guaranteed a seat for the schedule selected if they arrive to the bus at least 10 minutes prior to departure. Customers who have not purchased a ticket online will be boarded after online passengers and if space is available. Badger Bus advises passengers to purchase online to reserve your seat.   Top
19.  Where can I buy my tickets for the Badger Bus?
Badger Bus offers two different ways to purchase your ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at badgerbus.com through our secure website. If you do not purchase your ticket online, you can pay the driver in EXACT change CASH only for the Cash at Bus price. Please note that purchasing your ticket online at least 1 hour prior to departure and arriving to the bus at least 10 minutes prior to the selected schedule is the only way to guarantee your seat. Passengers who do not buy online will be boarded after online passengers and if space is available.   Top
20.  Do I need an account to purchase a ticket online?
No, you do not need to create an account. However, if you would like to modify/cancel your ticket at a later time, you should create/sign in to an account. Creating an account is simple and takes less than a minute. Please note: Guest tickets are not entitled to any modifications or refunds. Please note that online tickets must be purchased at least 30 minutes prior to the first stop on the schedule. Follow the steps to choose your trip date and time, where you want to travel to and from and your passenger name. Once you have completed those selections, you will then come to the payment page. Please note that for security reasons, Badger Bus does not store your credit card information so be you will need to enter your card information each time you purchase a ticket. Once you have entered your payment information, you will be reminded that tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable so please make you sure you have selected your correct trip needs. After purchase, you will be sent a confirmation email. Remember to have the passenger bring their ID or passenger confirmation # to the bus at least 10 minutes prior to departure to board the bus.  Top
21.  What form of payment do you accept for tickets?
When purchasing tickets online, you may pay with either a Visa or Master Card. Also available for payment of an online ticket is Badger Dollars which are available for purchase from the main ticketing page. (See next question regarding Badger Dollars). If you do not purchase your ticket online, you will need to pay the driver EXACT change CASH for the one way Cash at Bus fare only. Drivers do not make change or sell round trip tickets.   Top
22.  Is there a discount program for online ticket purchases?
Yes. If you are a frequent traveler and prefer to purchase your tickets online, you can purchase Badger Dollars. Badger Dollars are equal to a real dollar but when you purchase Badger Dollars you receive a discount based on how much you spend. Once purchased, you will schedule a trip for you (or a friend/family) and the amount of the ticket will be deducted from your Badger Dollar amount. Also, when you purchase Badger Dollars, they do not have an expiration date so you can use them up as quick or as slow as you desire. 23.  I have purchased my ticket ONLINE but have decided not to travel. Am I eligible for a refund?
If you bought your ticket as a guest: before choosing to submit your payment for an online ticket, it explains that tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable. No refund or credit will be available. If you have an online account and you made your purchase on that account: you can cancel your trip at least 30 minutes prior to the FIRST departure of that route and receive a Badger Dollars credit to use towards another online ticket. To make your cancellation, you will need to use INTERNET EXPLORER, GOOGLE CHROME, or FIREFOX to sign into your online account and click on the My Account button by your name (Safari does not work well for this feature). That will take you to your account history and select the option for upcoming trips. Then just click Cancel on the trip you want to change. When making your cancellation you can cancel the full ticket of just one portion of the trip as needed. Please note that tickets are non refundable so no Credit Card refunds are available. A credit card refund WILL NOT be given. If your travel date/time has passed, credits are NOT available so make sure to cancel before the deadline.   Top
24.  How do I cancel my Online Ticket and receive a credit towards another purchase?
Passengers who have an online account with Badger Bus and have purchased a non refundable online ticket can cancel their trip at least 30 minutes prior to the FIRST departure of that route and receive a Badger Dollar credit to use towards another online ticket. To make your cancellation, you will need to use INTERNET EXPLORER, GOOGLE CHROME, or FIREFOX to sign into your online account and click on the My Account button by your name. That will take you to your account history and select the option for upcoming trips. Then just click Cancel on the trip you want to change. You will then receive a message to confirm you want to cancel your trip and receive the Badger Dollars. To apply your Badger Dollars, just click on the “Use Badger Dollars” in the payment information box when you are rescheduling your new trip times. Please remember that you must schedule your trip at least 30 minutes prior to the first stop on the route you want to take. Please note that tickets are non refundable so no Credit Card refunds are available. 25.  I lost my ticket.  How do I receive a refund or replacement ticket?
Badger is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets.  Losing a ticket is like losing cash and no credit, refund or replacement is possible.  Top
26.  Does the Badger Bus operate on weekends and holidays?
All schedules marked as DAILY, operate everyday including weekends and holidays.  Top
27.  Does the Badger Bus go to any other stops besides the ones listed on the Schedule and Prices page?
No. Badger Bus only offers scheduled service to the stops listed on the schedule. However, we are always willing to listen to suggestions about adding new stops. If there is a stop you would like us to review, please send us a message to info@badgerbus.com.  Top

29.  Can I buy a ticket for someone at another location?
Yes. You can purchase a ticket to be available for someone else to use. Simply sign up for a Badger Bus online account and purchase a ticket through our online ticketing service. When you purchase tickets online, you must choose the EXACT date and schedule for departure and the passenger MUST travel at the chosen time. There is no additional fee to purchase an online ticket for someone else but once purchased, the ticket is non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The passenger will need to be at their departure location with a photo ID or confirmation code given to the purchaser (sent by email) after purchase.  Top
30.  Does Badger Bus guarantee its departure and arrival times?
No. While the Badger Bus runs very close to the schedule times, it is not possible to guarantee its arrival times. Badger makes every effort to provide on-time service, but may be delayed by any number of factors, including weather, traffic or mechanical problems.  Top
31.  The bus was late and I missed a connection for another bus or an airline flight.  Am I entitled to a refund?
No.  Badger is not liable for the expense of connecting bus service missed as a result of a delay. However, you may wish to contact the connecting bus line or airline for their specific refund procedures.  Top
32.  Does Badger offer Children's fares?
Yes. Children traveling with an adult passenger paying the full adult fare may be eligible to receive discounts at the following rates: One child per adult ticket, who has not reached his or her second birthday, will be carried free when not occupying a seat to the exclusion of another passenger. Children ages 2 through 11 are eligible for tickets priced at 50 percent less than the full adult fare, rounded to the nearest dollar. CHILD FARE DISCOUNTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE.  Top
33.  May children travel alone on the Badger Bus?
Children who are 8 years of age or older may travel unaccompanied at the FULL adult fare. It is advised that there be a parent or guardian at both the origin and destination to assist and greet children who are between the ages of 8 and 11.   Top
34.  What are the restrictions on baggage?
With each adult ticket, customers are allowed 1 piece of luggage to be placed in the baggage compartment and one small item as carry-on. With each child ticket, 1 piece of luggage is allowed below and 1 carry-on. Items placed below the bus cannot exceed 50 pounds and should be completely enclosed. Baggage for underneath the bus should not exceed 62 inches when adding the total exterior dimensions of the piece (length + width + height). (The exception to the size limit would be bikes and they are subject to a $10.00 fee, payable in CASH to the driver when boarding). Carry-on items must fit in the overhead racks or below your seat. Please remember to keep all valuables and medication with you at all times. Items placed under the bus or inside are the sole responsibility of the passenger traveling. You are responsible for placing your bags in the baggage bin under the bus and retrieving your bags at the destination. If you need assistance with your baggage, ask and the driver will try to assist you.  Top
35.  Prohibited Items for Baggage
Firearms of all types, acids, ammunition, animals, combustible liquids, compressed gases, corpses, cremated remains, explosives, fireworks, flammable liquids, furniture, hazardous materials (poisons, radioactive materials, etc.), materials with a disagreeable odor, matches, merchandise for resale, protruding articles, or any unsecured articles including those in plastic or paper bags are prohibited. Electronic equipment (television, stereos, etc.), film (flammable), and perishable items (food) are also not allowed. Items such as money and prescription medication are to be carried in the customer's possession. Laptop computers are considered electronic items and are prohibited to go below the bus, however they may be brought aboard as a carry-on item. 36.  Are radios, laptops, cell phones or electronic games allowed on the Badger Bus?
Yes. Radios, laptops and other electronic items may be carried on board, provided that they do not disturb fellow passengers and that headphones are used. If you are using your cell phone please keep your conversation quiet to be considerate of your fellow passengers. (Please note that Wireless Internet and External power outlets are not available on all Badger Buses.)  Top
37.  Are food and drink allowed on board the bus?
Yes. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed on board. Beverages should have a lid to prevent spills and we ask that you dispose of your waste when done with your trip.  Top
38.  Can I bring a bike with me on my trip?
Yes, for a $10.00 fee each way, payable in EXACT change CASH only. Bicycles are allowed on the bus either in a box or fully assembled. However, the customer is responsible for placing them under the bus and removing themselves and we are not liable for any damage that may occur in transport. The $10.00 EXACT CASH payment must be made before boarding the bus. When routes are extremely busy during weekends, spring break and holidays, please note that there may be space constraints for bikes.  Top
39.  Do the buses have restrooms available?
Yes. All Badger buses are equipped with air conditioning, an on-board rest room, reclining seats with headrests, and tinted windows.  Top
40.  Does Badger Bus offer wheelchair accessible bus service?
Badger Bus has accessible lift buses available for passengers who need assistance in boarding. For passengers who are traveling with a wheelchair, we advise purchasing your ticket online in order to guarantee your wheelchair space on the bus. Please make sure to check the Needs Wheelchair Space box when entering passengers on the Assign Passengers page. = = = = Passengers traveling with a wheelchair who do not purchase their ticket online and/or do not check the Needs Wheelchair Space box are subject to a first come first serve basis. = = = All passengers are reminded to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to departure. = = = If you have any additional questions please contact Badger Coaches at 1-877-292-8259 or email us at info@badgerbus.com. = = = Please note that when using a wheelchair lift-equipped bus, the combined weight of the customer and mobility aid cannot exceed 600 pounds. The mobility aid can be no more than 30 inches wide and 48 inches in height. We also allow wheelchairs or mobility devices to be stored below the bus in the luggage compartments. The maximum dimension of the baggage compartment is 30 inches x 33 inches x 48 inches. The maximum weight limit for mobility aids is 200 pounds. Mobility aids that exceed these dimensions and/or weight limits will not be accepted. Please allow sufficient time for the stowing any mobility aid; this will assist in preventing delays in the departure of the bus.  Top
41.  Can I bring an animal with me on my trip?
Yes and No. Yes - Small animals can be brought along with you on your journey BUT they must be in a carrier and they are placed in the luggage compartment below the bus.  No - Animals are not allowed inside the Coach regardless if they are in a carrier or not.  The only exception to animals allowed inside the bus is that the animal must be a certified service animal for passengers who need assistance.  Top
42.  Is smoking allowed on the Badger Bus?
No. Federal Law does not allow smoking on the Badger Bus.  Top
43.  I need assistance purchasing a bus ticket. Can you help?
Yes, please contact our office at 877-292-8259 or email us at info@badgerbus.com and we would be happy to help you book your bus ticket. Purchasing online is the only way to guarantee seating availability. Otherwise, you can also purchase your ticket with the driver but you will need to pay the driver EXACT change CASH for the one way Cash at Bus fare only. 44.  Does Badger Bus have a policy with regard to unruly customers or disruptive behavior?
Badger reserves the right to refuse to transport a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs or who refuses to comply with any lawful rule or regulations. If you witness any unruly behavior or suspect any trouble with a fellow passenger during your trip, please notify the driver.  Top

46.  What do I do if I booked my ticket online but did not receive an email confirmation?
If you have an online account, you can log in and see your trip in the upcoming trips area. If you have an @att.net or @sbcglobal.net email address, our emails are not going through their system at this time. Please email us with your trip information and date of purchase at info@badgerbus.com if you need confirmation that you are on an upcoming trip.  Top
